Nice cwlongshot, that's what mine looks like with the 110 Barnes tac-tx. Any idea of the velocity of this load? I just happen to have a box of the 150 flat base Hornadys that my 308 didn't care for.

I dont see any notes with the pic on velocity. So I dont think I ran it over the chrony. But 4227 isnt the fastest im gonna estimate 1500 fps range.
I dont shoot many supers in there heavier bulelts as this is a hunting gun for me snd they dont preform well in that role.

I have only tried a few loadings with the Barnes tox so far. Accuracy is plenty adequate at 1-1.25" groups. Ill take a few deer with it this year and see how it does.

Has anyone else had to have their headspace adjusted this way? Seems like the sort of thing that Ruger should be correcting under warranty, unless I'm missing something.

I have had a few fail to fire in mine but I reload. I neck size only and only hunt with once fired ammo from this gun. Neck sizing allows the case to maintain the proper headspace for that specific gun, just don't mix them up and shoot them in another rifle.

This is exactly what I do also. I've never had mine fail to fire a factory cartridge, but my headspace is still a little on the loose side.
