I couldn't find a P-300 scope locally, which I wanted, so I picked up the Nikon ProStaff 3x9-40 for my RARR. It's a little on the heavy side, but didn't throw off the balance of the rifle. I ended up paying about $130 for it with some low profile rings. I normally shoot the same as you, 50-100 yds, but this scope gives me the option to go out to 300, should I want to test my mad, operator-mall ninja sniper skills.
