Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
Well it fixed every issue! I decided to tackle it after work today. It's a simple as putting a half moon shape groove at a 45° angle on the shoulder catching the next round in the magazine. Just be sure it's centered on the portion of the bolt face that feeds the round into the chamber and you won't have any issues. Took me 15 min max to get it done. Feeds all rounds out of the mag every time without a problem. I'll post a pic of it as soon as I can figure that part out hahahahahahaha
Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
REALLY?
I cannot wait to see the pictures. You're getting reliable feeding with subs AND supers???

Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
Gotta see some pics, man!
Edit:
Hmm. I guess I'm willing to give it a shot but I don't see how that's fixing the angle of the cartridge hitting the feed ramp also?

Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
Did you just do that with a dremel or what?
Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
I don't have any issues with the feed ramp...just the whole double feed/mag issue. Works like it should now.
Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
Marked it, taped it, and went slow with a dremel using the orange grinding stone then used lapping compound and a buffer pad to smooth it out and polish.
Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
Which mags are you using?
Re: RARR with MDT LSS chassis
The plastic one marked 223. Not too impressed with it but they don't have a metal one available
