Question --> Did you remove the full 1 3/4 coils to take it down to 2lbs ?? I took off 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 to take it down to 3lbs exactly. Pretty much the same with a buddys gun.

He also has the Glades bolt handle and the likes it. That will most likely be the next thing I get for my gun. ---- pruhdlr

Very close to 1 3/4 but not quite. I wanted a little room to polish things up on the end. I actually clipped it twice to get it down to 2 pounds. I went 1 got it down to 3pounds then trimmed a little bit more. I am a little more on the careful side :) sort of creeped up on it.

I know I'm reviving an old thread but I finally got off my butt and did a little trigger work and floated the stock on mine. Instead of cutting the factory spring I replaced it with one from a ball point pen. The diameter was almost the same but its a way softer spring. I clipped it so it was two coils longer then flattened the end. I also polished the surfaces of the trigger with a fine diamond stone where it touches the sear. I don't have a scale to measure pull weight so I used a water jug and a coat hanger. Its breaking just a little under two pounds. I even slammed the stock on the floor a few times to make sure I didn't get an accidental discharge. The stock cleared the barrel every where except the front right corner. Nothing a sanding drum couldn't fix. Lastly I removed my 51T adapter for my SDN-6 and installed my Octane 45 with a 9mm end cap. The SDN-6 is heavy and after a few mags my groups really open up. I'm betting because of the weight of the can. Although the Octane 45 isn't as quiet it is quite a bit lighter.
I've had no problems getting .5" groups @ 50 yards with several supersonic and subsonic load but consistently has been an issue. Now all I need to do is make some range time to put it too the test.

Dug out my wife's digital food scale this morning and checked the pull weight again. After checking 5x's at 1oz. intervals it consistently breaks at 1lb. 9oz. For comparison I checked my Savage model 10 FCP-SR which is suppose to come from the factory set at 1.5lbs. It consistently broke at 1lb. 13oz. Hopefully tomorrow I'll make it to the range for some trigger time.

As many RARR owners we have on here you'd think someone would find interest in this.
