Call the customer service, it is not a special order item, their sales flyer lists them for sale. The REP I spoke with that assisted me said Ruger was behind on shipping them. Be polite but persistent.

Went to Cabelas last Friday the 6th during their RAR 300 sale............oh course none in stock in at any Cabelas.
Proceeded with their "raincheck" process.
Called to today the 10th to check on things and was told to expect it in March.

Well, I went to Cabela's yesterday in Dundee, MI and of course, none in stock. I did the raincheck thing, so WHEN they get some in stock, I will get one for the sale price.

I am glad to read some people are sucessfuly getting rain checks at Cabela's. I have two on the raincheck list as well. Cabela's could not say if it is the short or long stock version.

I found 3 on GunBroker last night for $425 buy it now price! Starting bid was $399... With zero bidders on all 3..Woke up at 8am to buy it and all was sold! I don't now what I was thinking I should bought it then.. F*%k!

Got my rifle at Cabela's tonight - $379.99 + tax. I had 325 in Cabela's points, so only about $60 out of pocket!!

I guess someone who bought one of those 3 from GBROKER must of flaked on payment bcause next morning same seller had one of the RARR listed same price! Didn't even waist time playing the bidding game! Hit the buy now for $425+25 shipping should be here by friday..
