How do you like the magpul stock so far?

Its great, no complaints at all. For a dedicated target rifle I would have liked a steeper grip angle, but for an allround rifle like my Blackout, its great.

I'm looking at stocks for my 700 and the Magpul is on the list but mags were stopping me. Is that an AICS type .223 mag or what? If so where and how muchie?

Pictured is an older Ai polymer mag. But I got an MDT .223 polymer mag a while back and it is even better. Will be getting more of those in the future.

Needs a Timiny trigger, the X-mark is pretty good but the screw annoys me.

Just shot it today for the first time and other than some light primer FTFs, in another post, it's damn sweet.

I'm heading to the range this weekend and will post some pics of the results. I'll also sit down and tally up what I have into the rifle. It hasn't exactly been cheap thus far, I can tell you that. But I don't mind sharing the exact figure either.

Well I edited my post about with the dollar figures for my build, but didn't have a chance to really test out my groupings at the range. Went with several buddies and we just had a blast shooting it. No issues whatsoever with the gun and it seems to be extremely accurate. Can't wait to get it set up in a sled to see what it can really do.
