This is what I want... in 300BLK

A lightweight, bolt action, underfolder with a 6-8" barrel that I can use a Ti-rant on for subsonic shooting. Internal Mag is fine.

Any takers to make this bad-boy?

Build 2 of them and I'll buy one from you.

It's an interesting concept but the example you've shown is less than appealing.

It would definitely be a cool build. What action were you thinking? Model 7? Mini-Mauser? I'm thinking the stock would be your biggest challenge. Ever consider a side-folder? Choate makes one of those. At least it's an off the shelf purchase.

I'm going to use a micro-7, sourcing one now.

Cut the barrel to 9 inches, 1/2x28 and use a Tirant

I am going to design an aluminum V-bedded stock with a wire sliding stock, AR pistol grip.

I dream of a compact side folder but that would work too.

Found and purchased a single feed ramp micro-7, once I get the gun in hand I'll model it and design the stock.

Then the long wait begins

Finally picked it up.

Here is the stock I designed. I am going to use an Ace side folding mechanism and their lightweight AR style stock.

I bought a Nikon 3x32 BDC scope and rings and an ATLAS bipod. The reliefs on the foreend are for the bipod to be better integrated and fold backward.

Total length with the stock folded and the barrel cut to 9" is 17.5"

The metal is in the mail, hopefully will be cutting chips shortly.
