My rifle will be here Friday....as long as FedEx doesn't screw up.

Any tips for 10 round mags for it???

Thanks!

If you have the AR mag version, no problem. Older rotary mag rifle is a no go for more than 5-6 rounds. Beyond that, I like mine just fine.

Assume your Ranch is 300 BLK. Though I have used various 556 AR mags in them and they worked fine, Ive got dedicated 300 BLK mags. Mostly for identifying them as 300 instead of 556 to avoid kabooms. Plus they are built slightly differently than 556 so they feed the fatter 300 bullet better.

D&H has nice metal 10 rounders marked as 300BLK.

Though not 300 BLK nor 10 round, if you ever use Magpul mags in the Ranch (300 or BLK), they work fine, though they tend to stick a little when you release them out of the magwell.

You will like the Ranch in any caliber.

I always use dedicated 300 BO mags for 300 BO.

I picked up some of the metal D&H mags.

This RAR is a keeper.

I was surprised how light the recoil was.

Fun 200 yd gun at the range. My 10 yo would repeatedly ring 3” steel with it at 200 yds to the amusement, and sometimes consternation, of old guys struggling to hit the 10”.

I like .300BO Lancer mags......clear and reliable. However, with lighter loads they have been a little bit noisy.

I have .300BO Pmags and they are nice but so tight I have to slam it into the rifle to seat them and that's why I went to Lancer.

Lancer Mags for 300 BO. Pmags for .223.

Both PMags and Lancers can cut capacity with a -5 insert down to 5 rnds for range or hunting. Here in Wa on m public range they require 5 rounds, and for hunting they require 5 rounds, SO I buy 10 rnound mags, and put the -5 insert in them.
