Don't know why they bother, the cartridge will never catch on without $5 per 20/box ammo.

I just bought one yesterday. It has the green stock. My first 300 BLK. My friend, who works that the gun shop said in his opinion the Howa was better quality than the Ruger American Ranch, which I was considering before he told me about the Howa that just arrived at the shop. So theirs lasted less than one day before it was sold. When the dies, brass and bullets arrive, I will begin loading for it. None of my manuals are new enough to have 300 BLK data, so I am on the hunt for that too. Plan to shoot heavy cast PC'd subs in it.

Brownell's was having a "Black Friday" sale so I just purchased the Howa 1500 Mini in 300 BLK, my first in this caliber. I also purchased the Brownells/MDE chassis in FDE. I will be putting it together over the winter and plan to shoot it Spring of 2020. If things come together sooner and the Thanksgiving / Christmas sales are good, I'll finish sooner.

I am also ordering an AAC 762-SD and will be anxiously awaiting the form 4 approval.

I'm new to this forum but hope to learn and share much experience and information.

Those who have this rifle and shoot it, any likes or dislikes? Looking at Brownells to start a build with one. Haven't looked at a chassis yet but that's down the road. Will put a 1-8 scope on it. Appreciate any comments.

Looked at the RAR, Howa, and Ruger AR 300 BLK pistol. Bought the pistol. I like the Howa but not the magazine.
