Here's the question I asked Remington:

Will a pistol buffer tube screw into the rear of your new Remington M700 CP
pistol so I can attach a brace support?

Here's the answer from Remington:

Yes, you would be able to add a brace support. Should you have additional questions, please feel free to contact our Consumer Services Department at 800-243-9700, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, EST, Monday through Friday.

I'm now thinking of ordering the CP pistol in Blackout.

I've watched/read at least a half dozen reviews of this pistol and not a single one answers that question.

If it does, it would make a sweet sub hunting rifle....ummm....I mean pistol-with-a-brace.
I had the same thought a month ago when i first saw it !

Looks like so much fun !

Law tactical FSA..............and a backpack...

As far as the threaded portion it appears to have a (possibly threaded round piece holding on a standardish AR rear plate)
You don't even need a law folder since there's no buffer. You could used the SB folder and save $100.https://www.sb-tactical.com/product/btf ... g-adapter/

Idk....the law is made of steel so it will be stronger and i got mine for 199 from brownells last year.

How tough is the sb ?

DS did not recommend the SB unit in the “My Newest 300 blackout” thread. “So, I can wholeheartedly NOT recommend the SB Tactical hinge. It has a serious wobble from the hinge pin being too small or the hole being too big. Time to look for another option.”

I will go with the following unit from MDT. Fixed to carbine, 2-way locking.

Alternatively I have a Hera Side Folding Unit I could use which is very high quality but does not lock in the folded position, just the extended position. https://www.lanworldinc.com/index.php/c ... lding-unit

My LGS still doesn’t know when this will arrive. I found this pic online I thought I would share.

Great product. For me, the BLK is the best round for a gun like this but I can definitely see the 308 for hunters who hike way out for big game. The short barrel takes a lot of weight off. I hope it sells well enough that they offer more cartridges. The tiny folding bolt gun is a great concept.
