I would add, using a nylon bore brush covered with a patch pushes thru easier. This has given me visibly better rotation of the cleaning rod, with less slippage, and very accurate twist info.

It's pathetic what Freedom Group has done to the Remington and Marlin names.
Guns that were American icons for decades aren't worth owning now.

I used a brass jag and put 2 cleaning patches on it making it very tight but that is the best way I have found without actually slugging the barrel.TRshootem wrote:I would add, using a nylon bore brush covered with a patch pushes thru easier. I find it interesting that they still have 1:10 twist barreled rifles in, 300 Blackout, in inventory to use as a replacement.

I was shocked myself. It's back up there again. Let's see if 3rd time is a charm. Hopefully the nice note I left in the package helps.A-Game wrote:I find it interesting that they still have 1:10 twist barreled rifles in, 300 Blackout, in inventory to use as a replacement.

I hope they can get it right this time. That would piss me off to no end.
Re: Not very happy with Remington
Any thing said about the rifle swap?
Or any chance of getting the original back ?

300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

Re: Not very happy with Remington
I won't get the original back. Remington has the right to just replace the firearm under a warranty issue.dellet wrote:Any thing said about the rifle swap?

Re: Not very happy with Remington
Just an update. Called remington and its on s parts hold (has been for several weeks now) so I asked why and apparently they dont even have the barrel to correct the issue and thats why I got a 1/10 as a replacement last time.
