WHO OFFERS FREE FLOAT TUBES USING THE STANDARD BARREL NUT?

Does anyone know of or have a free float tube that uses the standard barrel nut to mount on? I understand that TROY offers something like that where it clamps on the stripped down regular barrel nut. If so, feel free to elucidate. drayks

The AP customs tubes use the standard nut, as well as the Troy Alpha rail. I have em, so those are the only ones I know.

The Troy Alpha handguards use the stock milspec barrel nut, it isn't modified in any way.

the troy alpha is alright, however you need some squiddies on it to ease off the sharp edges on all the holes. it can feel sharp under recoil without gloves if you dont have them, and even gets annoying carrying after a while.

dont get me wrong, love my alpha, just wish they would have rounded the corners off, instead of leaving them crisp and sharply angular.

I actually prefer the sharpness(but I always wear gloves even in the summer months) compared to my ALG handguards smoother surface which requires hand stops etc to help prevent slipping and sliding.

They offer the VTAC Alpha which alleviates that. Less cheese grater effect.
