NEA stock or a cheaper alternative???

NEA stock or a cheaper alternative???

I'm seriously thinking about an NEA stock (inspired by the Honey Badger concept) for my 8in build but I'm shying away from that price. I've read that there may be a couple of other companies coming out with a similar stock but nothing more than internet rumor. Does anyone know if there is going to be a cheaper alternative to the NEA forthcoming???

Troy defense has one pictured in the 2013 catalog but
Nothing as of yet for sale.. I haave seen pictures of a rack of troy
rifles with it... being that we are getting close to shot show
I am holding out to see if anything better comes along
the concept has been around for decades just history repeating
itself again

IIRC Troy said they would only be available on their rifles, not sold individually.

I want one too, but im not really into paying early adopter pricing. Plenty of other builds to get done while we wait for this stock.

A BC is included, you get more than just a stock.

The focal point of what I get with that stock (for the purpose of this thread) is the bill, not the spring, the bolt carrier, or even the color or camo pattern. Hence the title of the thread is "NEA stock or a cheaper alternative???" and not "NEA stock, what comes with it???"

So, do you have an answer to the actual question I asked?

True, not on point for the original question, but still informative.

I wondered about the cost initially until I figured this part out, then I went ahead with an order.

Still, I, too, would welcome a less costly alternative if anyone can suggest one.
