im curious if anyone can give feedback on the nea CCS? I am on the fence waiting for the troy version to come out.
Troy stole the original design from NEA. A purchase from Troy will simply reward that theft. The CCS is currently in production and available.

I have seen the NEA stock, and it's still in development. It's not very comfortable, but it's a PDW so not to be expected if it does the job.

Here's a nice alternative

If you read the text you will discover this is a .22 rimfire. Not really the same thing as it doesn't need the bolt carrier to move like a full power rifle.

Excellent, hope you like it. I was just at their factory and saw rows and rows of CCS stocks and other AR goodies. I am currently waiting on a box from them as well ..... although it doesn't contain a CCS stock. :(

Sounds like progress. Hopefully I will get one soon also, ordered a month or so ago so I might be down on the list a ways.

When I was there a couple weeks ago they were waiting on carriers. That is why I didn't get one. I saw a shelf full of otherwise complete CCS stocks. I also understand they have had quite a lot of interest in the stock so they may be behind a bit in production.

Those that get these stocks, please let us know how they are working out. I have a few dollars burning a hole in my pocket, but am waiting to hear some information on this bad boy.

Put the NEA stock besides an AR-15 to give you an idea.

Hope you liked it.

Can't really say anything else atm as the rifle and the stock are not together yet.

The name of the original company to produce it does not
come to mind right now but it was not nea.. however
they are out of business ... also this concept has been around since
the 70's long before Nea was around.. so if anything Nea bought
it from a guy who copied the US GOV..
