Who makes the shortest 300 blackout upper?

Just wondering if you guys could tell me who makes the shortest 300 blackout complete upper? I've got a Cyclone on the way, which is fairly long, so I'm looking for a super short barrel to put it on.

The 9" barrel is about as short as you need to go. Getting any shorter than that and you'll have a hard time getting a forearm to fit.

Hmm weird I run a 6" barrel and suppressor and don't have any fitment issues with my hand guard!

Noveske makes an 8.2-inch barrel.

Or build a upper using a shorter barrel

Thanks guys. After looking up some prices, I think I might try and build my own. I'm really worried about gas problems, but hopefully with enough research I'll be able to put something together.

Get yourself a good quality barrel like a AAC, Noveske, or Satern and you shouldn't have any gas problems.

Thanks guys. After looking up some prices, I think I might try and build my own. I'm really worried about gas problems, but hopefully with enough research I'll be able to put something together.

Be sure that the barrel you get has the pistol length gas port. Then get a good set of SAE, metric, and wire guage drill bits (OK, you can probably get buy with just a set of SAE) and open up the gas port one size at a time until the factory 220's will reliably cycle.
