BCA upper + MI hand guard?

Can anyone tell me if the MI SP series hand guards (suppressor ready) are compatible with BCA side charging upper receivers? These hand guards have an angled 'tab' at the 11 and 1 o'clock positions (looking from breech toward muzzle) that look like they will interfere with the BCA upper.

I have a two Seekins BAR's with similar tabs that have similar alignment tabs They fit fine on my regular BCM upper. They fit on either side of the upper rail and I have a hard time imagining they would interfere with the side charging. From what I see on a picture of a BCA side charging upper they would be completely above it.

Beside Ar parts are like chicklets, you can't have just one. A spare sitting on the bench soon grows into a complete upper.

It wasn't the charging handle that concerned me but the front end of the receiver in the area where it appears that the tabs would/will overlap the receiver. I thought they might prevent the flush mating of the 2 surfaces. I should have been more clear on my concern.

They appear to be like the ones on my BAR, they are supposed to overlap, they sit just outside to prevent rotation of the hand guard.
