I’m new here, so hi to everyone.
I’m in the process of putting together an ultra-short build with a Law Tactical folder for S&G, and am considering building it with either a KAK Baby Blond 6.25” or V Seven 6.5” barrel. Both are 1:7 twist. Does anyone run either of these, and can you comment on whether they can stabilize a heavy subsonic round? Also, do any of you have a preference between the two companies? Thanks!
6.5” with subs?

Re: 6.5” with subs?
I don't personally have experience with anything shorter than 6 1/2" and did not really care for it. Basically the length reduction was not enough benefit to the noise increase. Add to that the loss of performance with supers, it just isn't anything I was interested in.
With that said, here is a good thread to look through. it will probably answer a bunch of questions and raise some others.
A 1/7 twist should stabilize any bullet currently on the market that I know of. To not be stable it would need to be around 1.850" inches long and less than 240 grains. Just does not exit right now.

300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

I've had both those barrels, both stabilized 220's. They did like the 185's and 190's better though
