Sharpes 25-45

Post by rlandry6 »

Has anyone had any experience with this round. I've read a little about it and in some respects, it's interesting, but that said, I've got all of the pistol and rifle calibers I want to load for and not interested in taking on another one. In spite of being somewhat interesting, if only because of the history of the company, It kinda seems like a solution looking for a problem.

25-45 sharps is one of the 9+ small frame AR calibers I have. Love it.

H335 and 87g speer hot cores @2900fps, Sub moa. Easy to make brass, dies are expensive.

If the dies were Redding the price would be pretty much in line, but for any RCBS dies, yep, they are a little pricey. Maybe if the caliber catches on, prices on everything for it will come down.

Lee didn't make dies for 25-45 when I got it a few years ago. Dangit.
