Fostech Echo Trigger?

Post by Crtsharris »

What's your thoughts on this trigger system? I am interested because of the two shot binary mode. I have shot an M-4 in the Army with a three shot burst and it was fine but think two shots would be even more accurate. Anyways, here is a Youtube link for your viewing pleasure...

My son just received one of the first one shipped and installed it this morning. He says it works as it is supposed to with the quick follow up shot. He has not put a scale on it yet buy estimates it as a about a 5 lb. break.

Can I ask what he paid for it? I know he has waited a long time for delivery, any word on how long the wait is now?

That is just wrong. AFAIK, never in the history of triggers has releasing a trigger fired a shot.
No matter what you read on the intarweb CCI450s and CCI41s ARE NOT BALLISTICALLY IDENTICAL with H110! I'm also not a intarweb lawyer so I don't argue with anyone who is.

That's certainly a better implementation than the other one I saw. Still can't justify the price to me though.

Yeah, that price is really steep!! Paid $260 for a Geiselle years ago and I thought that was pricey!!

I've got a bunch of $220ish triggers, but I just got a NIB Stoger Condor Competition 12ga yesterday for $500, or you could buy a whole AR for that too.

The binary trigger seems like the best way to say FU to the GCA's closed registry, but I'm not their customer at that price point.

This is the 2nd or 3rd system that fires on trigger release, seems like it might be the best so far though. $500 or so for the trigger, $11,000,000 for ammo, I'm gonna have to take a pass. Slidefire 10/22, here I come.

This is the first one that's made it through a non-manufacturer video without having a double feed or some other malfunction.

Being able to turn off the second shot with the selector is also a big improvement over the other one that no one seemed to acknowledge wasn't able to, outside of stating it was a range toy.

If they run that well with any ammo you feed it, the Echo looks like it gets the job done. It's certainly a well thought out implementation of the concept.
