It would be less disrespectful to burn the flag than to put a thin blue line through the middle of it.

Running plastic cased ammo almost seems like Darwinism at its best to me. As tough as some service rifles can be on brass, I wouldn't let any polymer based ammo near my guns.

Sounds good on paper because it'd be lighter. Whether it works is a different story.

The whole existence of PolyCase was to develop a polymer round that couldn't be reloaded by bad guys in some jungle in South America. If I remember right, .380 was the biggest they ever figured out, everything else self destructed. They shifted their focus to polymer bullets, and now the ARX is out, in brass cases. Something about that PCP stuff rings a bell, not the name, but the look of the rounds, can't put my finger on it though. Was interesting that when he called CS, they said PCP or Gorilla, same company? I thought Gorilla was OK.

Any ideas as to what happened? I saw the damaged mag but didn't hear anyone speculate as to the cause. I only got a brief look at the damaged part. Most of the 10 minute video was talk.

Seems odd that a round would go off before fully in battery and not be the gun's fault. I'm no fan of poly cased ammo (can't be reloaded). But suspect the gun played a part.

I could have missed something. The video only loaded in bits with pauses and way to long.

Seems the issue was the fluted chamber, I think that leaves portions of the case unsupported. Has worked fine with brass forever, but the plastic didn't like it.
