That is some great shooting for ANY gun but amazing for an AR and even more amazing that those are subsonic.

Glad I got me some N105 to try now if I can just get V3.0 in my hand before the end of the next match.

I will get a chance to shoot this up coming weekend ( mine are Sunday and Monday), That's as far as I want to hold this up and the first chance I'll get. My apologies to those that got yours in the allotted time. As I said, just wasn't going to happen. I appreciate the consideration and ask that you would give IdahoJon and anyone else to Sunday. Thanks.

Well, it's hard to do. People don't like hard to do
I wrapped up the final details on the closing on my storefront. I am an owner, not a renter anymore (God help me ). That had to take precedence over tweaking loads. Coupled with my wife dealing with kidney stone removal, recovery and never missing a day of work ( West Virginians are a tough lot), and taking up some of the slack here, except laundry - she won't let me touch it because I sort it by smell  - not color.
I'll have a target, bad or good as usual.

Bad day of shooting, was excited to shoot what I thought was my best load so far. Shot 2 groups yesterday under 1" at 100yds and ES numbers at 16. Today ES numbers were 46 and couldnt get them to group at 200 worth a damn. My best group was 3" at 200, but every shot was off the 3x5.

After shooting 8 groups and frustrated as hell, this is what ill be submitting. The group is the double sharpie lined hits.

I feel your pain, steven. Odd how you can have a load that seems great one day and goes to hell the next.

Ya very disapointed. Was trying to get all 5 on the card this time around. It was windy as all hell and my paper on the cardboard kept coming off using spray adhesive. But didt effect bullet path at all.

So its been a few firsts today.
First time I've really shot subs in centre fire.
First time I've deliberate shot out to 200 on to paper.
First time I've used a ballistics drop calculator.
First time I've dialed up a scope to make a shot.

So that being said I think it went well and i'm quite happy.

208gr hornady A Max with 8.6gr 2205 adi Cci small rifle magnum primer.
16 inch AR15 1-4X28 Optic leaning over the front box of a 4 wheeler.
The load has had no development apart from sighting it in. I never even chronoed it.
Even had to hand cycle the gun so im really stoked with the results.
They can only get better from here.

Note for some silly reason its uploaded the group of shots photo's upside down. Guess they show up the right way in the northern hemisphere lol
