Can't justify 300 BO

If all you want to do is plink targets then it's hard to see why you wouldn't just stick with 5.56 or even 7.62x39 since the ammo is cheap.

I view my 300 BLK setup as my SHTF rifle. It has way more muzzle energy and probably stopping power than a 5.56 cartridge, has all of the ergos of an M4 and I can mix it up on the fly by switching between subsonic and supersonic loads.

The $400 in tax stamps and $200 for my Trust paperwork is a drop in the bucket compared to what I spend on actual training and shooting.
