New Magpul d60 AR15 60-rnd drum

Post by mostholycerebus »

Does NOT work with 300 Blackout. Confirmed by Magpul rep on M4Carbine. He claims that the internal geometry doesnt have room for the larger bullets.

I hope someone from AAC is calling Magpul about a 300BLK specific model...

I still want a few...if only for my 5.56 weapons.

Reports from one or two early adopters are that these DO WORK with 300BLK! :P

I'm still in for one when I find it in stock. Just for giggles, perhaps.

I have shot just a few rounds through my new 60 round surefires. The 120 grain bullets worked well.

I want a D60 but will wait on pricing to drop down to where I feel it should be. I paid about $150 for the two sure fires.

The D60 is a gimmick product.

40 round Pmag and 5 round extensions are much cheaper, easily carry in mag holsters and chest rigs, and standard 30 round mags are much lighter and make it easier to manipulate the weapon.

Magpul missed the mark on this one with the cost and I will not be partaking of this bandwagon.

You can buy a lot of mags for the cost of one D60.

How are you going to carry multiple D60 drums? The answer is you aren't because they are 150.00

I got over the extra high capacity magazine when I stuck a 10 shot mag loaded with 10 12 guage slugs in my mk1919 shotgun .
