Yep.

I built a 22 upper the same way. I welded a tube onto the threaded barrel to bring it to 16+ inches. My suppressor goes into the tube and is threaded onto the barrel.

I guess the core is blind pinned and welded to the barrel, so OAL is just about 17". Can't fire it with the tube off, either. Bad stuff will come out and mess you up. They'll build you one with a removable core if you want, but I don't want.

Anyone know standard thread dimensions for this caliber? I'm pretty sure on my AR it's 1/2x28x .400, and Liberty told me 5/8x24x .400, but I measured the threads on my Aero barrel at .600

All my 8.5" barrels measure 9" overall with 5/8x24 threads
