AAC is not closing as a brand, but manufacturing is moving to a much larger facility.

This is Remington's statement:

http://www.gunsandammo.com/2014/05/15/g ... g-alabama/

“Earlier today we announced the consolidation of multiple company plants into our Huntsville, Alabama, facility,” said Remington Spokesman Teddy Novin. “This was a strategic business decision to concentrate our resources into fewer locations and improve manufacturing efficiency and quality. We are working hard to retain as many people from the affected facilities as possible.”

Someone needs to sneak into the ammunition production and switch them to 300blk.

Would that be considered a 300Blk, Black op? Of course it would have to be silent. 8)
300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

Makes me glad I don't buy Remington products anymore.
Maybe they are just recouping the loss from the latest recall
Sadly, no matter what they say many will not be working for them at the new location; there are only so many needed to operate such a facility and I can't emagine there are many empty positions available there.

Consolidation in and of itself isn't anything to be worried about, making current employees re-apply for positions at the new facility on the other hand is pretty chicken shit business practice if that is in fact true.

Have they released any LAR products? Does this mean another year? Does this suggest that when you order something it will be like waiting for an NFA item to be approved? So many questions.....

Has Kevin B started up his new company yet?
If so, maybe he can put the old team back together...

This can't be a good thing for AAC, it's people, and the product line.

He signed on with SIG Sauer. So I'm assuming we will see an escalation of SIG' s suppressor line and adoption of the 300BLK on many of their products. Only time will tell...
