Re: Any updates on Remington 300blk Ammo Production?
The 1.361 is about where the RCBS trimmer is set to, I bought a trimmer from Little Crow Gunworks which goes into a cordless drill and it cuts 1.368 +/- .001 and the factory Hornady is 1.360 +/- .001 close to the range 300 Blk indicated they shoud shoot for. The drill trimmer does a piece of brass in 2-3 seconds, a lot easier than the RCBS. Bani has reloaded the 150 grain rounds and I have a lot of Sierra 180 grain PSP which is cannelured but if I set it to the cannelure it is considerably shorter than the factory specs. Bani, on the 150 grainers what powder charge and primer do u use? Most lever action and magazine fed weapons suggest a cannelure and crimp to reduce the possibility of a round being shoved in on the powder. The 220 grainers I have coming may or may not have a cannelure on them, I have elected to use a Lee FCD to crimp it no matter what. The 300 Blackout is more versatile than my 6.8 SPC as it only works with a few different grain bullets. Some can be too heavy for it according to what I have read. Just purchased 2 boxes of Fusion ammo for it and they we $23.00 for 20 @ Walmart! Thanks for the help.

Just looking for an update regarding the topic of this post.
As frustrations continue to mount over the utter and total lack of 300BLK ammo availability...Do any of the moderators, or anyone in the know, have an update as to when Remington plans on doing a run of 115gr UMC 300blk or 220gr Express Rifle Subsonics?

Supply has not met demand. They are working on it.

Actually not too hard to find Remington ammo in general at this point. They are doing runs of lots of other calibers right now. Just no 300blk UMC or Subs at this point.300Blk wrote:Supply has not met demand. They are working on it.

Question is if anyone knows when they are planning a run of 300blk UMC or Subs. It has been months since they have done a production run of these two.

Yeah, Remington did a run of this 300blk Match ammo about 3 months ago, some of it is still floating around at $2 a pop. Looking for production run info on UMC and Subs. I figured one of the AAC or Remington staff members on here might know when a run for these was planned.Trypoint wrote:http://swfa.com/300-AAC-Blackout-C5036.aspx

Good. Maybe they can get some 300 BLK produced when the new lines are operational in about a year. I wonder what happened to the dedicated lines for 300 BLK they added before?300Blk wrote:Supply has not met demand. They are working on it.

There are shops in the Atlanta area with Hornady sitting on their shelves. 208 subs and 110 supers. Look around ammo is becoming easier to find.
Re: Any updates on Remington 300blk Ammo Production?
As far as I know, and last time I checked (this year), Remington makes some kind of 300 BLK ammunition every month.
