LMT 10.25" blackout barrel

Post by agriebel »

I have one of the 16" LMT blackout barrels and thinking about SBRing it to 10.25", it has the pistol length gas system. Has anybody cut their LMT barrel down? This should work with the pistol length gas system if I remember correctly.

You can always cut down pistol-length gas barrels provided it has enough meat to re-thread it.

You may have to open up the gas port to get it to function properly, but I understand that is less troublesome than with even shorter barrels.

(Love the Cooper quote! Had not seen it before, but do love my HK P7s.)
