Is anyone here running one of these? It seem's like it would be a close to perfect AR in .223, then being able to swap out barrels with two screws for the 300 blackout......

Yes but also for the cost of that upper and a spare barrel you can buy a few complete uppers in different calibers. Right? Why change the barrel in two minutes when you can change the entire upper in 10 seconds and for a lower cost and also have the sights/optic sighted in?

Hmm, I can get the complete LMT for just under $1600 in .223, 300 Blkout barrels are suppose to be like $375.

I actually have 2 MRP uppers and 1 MWS and really like the options. I picked up both MRPs used as well as a number of my barrels. I had a 10.5" Noveske 300BLK barrel converted and really like it. LMT has a 16" 300BLK barrel listed on the site but seem to be very slow in getting numbers out... one member here has one of the barrels. Ive got a 12.5" 6.8, 14.5" 6.8, 18" SS 5.56, 16" 5.56, 12" piston 5.56, 11" 22lr. Photo below is old... sold a 14.5" 5.56 and added an 18" 6.5pcc wildcat. The barrel on top (lower picture) is a Noveske 20" 6.5 Creedmoor converted for the MWS. The 308 barrel, chopped to 14.5", with a pinned 51T comp is not pictured.

I've definitely come out way cheaper vs 10 complete monolithic uppers. I don't mind spending on premium barrels given that I don't have to reinvest in new uppers and rails for each barrel. Running the 762-SDN-6 up and down the line up.

Thanks. All the gas blocks are pinned given that it is standard on LMT and Noveske barrels. All except the new 6.5pcc actually which is a BHW.

Rainier just listed complete LMT 16" 300 BLK rifles... you can see the gas block at the pistol gas position (a real positive if you want the option to cut the barrel down).
