IMO no. They were designed for a high pressure round to help cycle short guns. The 300blk doesnt have that problem(I should say a properly done barrel wont have that issue). So the main purpose behind, at least the KX3, isnt really useful in the 300blk.

The main purpose of the KX3 is to direct blast forward, so in shorter applications I still see it as valid, especially if you are doing more than just shooting paper in a field.

I would not bother. On a really short 5.56, then they are great.

I put the 51t brake on my 9" 300 BLK and it is pleasant to shoot.

While waiting for my SDN-6, I had a KX3 on my 8" 300 BLK. It was surprising to me how much of the noise it seemed to direct away from the shooter.

I am a fan.

On a side note, the one time I ever shot my SBR with my 51T brake and no suppressor, I literally cleared the entire firing line. Everybody just stopped what they were doing and backed up. I felt like a total ass and only shot one mag to sight in my T1 and make sure the brake was not going to back off.

Never had anything close to that happen with the KX3.
