"All this dang talk about 'reteecules' and Bee-Dee-Cee has got this old boy a-laffin'!"
"Why, I remember back in the day me and my buddies would take them old rifles out to get us some squirrels for the stew pot. If the furry critter was close we'd put that old front sight right on 'em, and whack 'em down out o' that tree. Come to think of it, we had to hold a little low the higher up they was in the tree. Never did unnerstand that, but it worked."
But heck, if that there squirrel was a few trees over - say, from here to that swimmin' hole over yonder - we'd hafta hold that front sight near about four inches above the critters head! At first we missed some, but then we figured out how high to hold the sights, dependin' on how many trees that squirrel was away from us."
"Put lots o' squirrels in the stew pot, we did. Yes Sir!"

The problem is when the squirrels you miss start shooting back at you.At first we missed some, but then we figured out how high to hold the sights, dependin' on how many trees that squirrel was away from us."
