looks good, can't wait to try it out this weekend.
I have some loads ready, I expect it will run fine.
Can't wait!
It ran fine just as I expected. Assembled with my TM lower, BCM BCG, Gas buster CH,
Primary Arms Red Dot, and MI backup sights. Started @ 50 yards with a wet BCG, 110 VMAX
supers running 2300 FPS, my first 6 shots were in the black, switched to Iron sights, had to adjust
to co-witness to the Red Dot, once this was done I moved to 100 yards. A little low at 100 yds.
115 grains UMC worked fine and were accurate, as were REM 125's, I tried my first factory subs, 220 REM,
I had to adjust POA 10 inches high, the first couple rounds would cycle fine, the next couple would not strip
a new round. A great value, and well worth the wait. Thanks DSA!!
I took my DSA upper to the range again today, it ran better today. PA Red dot at 100 yards, all but 1 in the black (10 rds).
I used a different mag with the 220 Rem, it cycled and fed every round without issue. DSA does another fine job on the product. Buy with confidence, the wait is worth it.

If the idea was to have an inexpensive lightweight rifle why add the weight, bulk, and expense of a scope? If I must buy a scope to use it I might as well just get a dSA upper, NFA lower, and a rear sight for $600. It is less expensive (don't have to buy a scope)
and not much heavier.
No one was waiting for the ideas to come in before starting.
Open sights didn't clear the silencer, so they were scrapped.
......Brother-in-law just ordered(this week) a stainless upper(300BLK) from DSA,,,They told him 3 weeks....That seems to be a little optimistic after reading this thread....
My order from February 14, 2012 has shipped. I figured they'd never get their act together so I already got parts and put mine together. I really thought they'd forgotten about me so I never canceled my order. No communications from them even when I placed my order. I hope it's ok when I get it, I really don't want to ever deal with them again. I guess I need to build another lower and will give this one to my son. Lucky kid!
