QuickLoad thinks that is about 78,000 psi. You should lower it to about 18.5 grains.
Re: Barnes 130 grain TTSX, Yes or No
I charged to 18.5 and 19.0 grains of H110. I will chronograph them and see what kind of velocities I'm getting and post it here. Thanks for the input Robert.

Re: Barnes 130 grain TTSX, Yes or No
OK, here's my updated data-
130gr Barnes TTSX ---- 18.5 grains H110 ---- 2063 fps
130gr Barnes TTSX ---- 19.0 grains H110 ---- 2123 fps
Lake City 07 brass/CCI no.41 primer
9" Delta Company Arms barrel with 1:8 twist
Primers were flattened the same as the 20 grain charged loads. No other signs of being over pressure. I will also post this over on the "Share Your Loads" thread.
Also, I get 1006 fps for my 220gr MK loads charged to 11.2 grains of Accurate 1680. Same brass and primer as above. All unsuppressed.

Re: Barnes 130 grain TTSX, Yes or No
Although the classic signs of over pressure is self evident in addition to the flattened primers, the greatest concern for me is a ruptured/pierced primer. I'd suggest at the least an inspection to confirm a well rounded firing pin face. All it takes is a sharp ended firing pin strike. At those pressures the margin of safety gets pretty skinny. A jet of dragons breath of flaming powder back into the action will dearly ruin Your day. I have been there, done that with way too much Dupont IMR 4198 powder over 20 years ago. I was asking for it and SURELY got it. Now NOT EVER forgotten. At any rate, for precious vision concerns please, I'd suggest Your best shooting glasses fur sure, fur sure. starlingstalkerTNinfidel wrote:Here are 2 freshly fired cases. Primers are a bit flattened but no other signs of pressure I can see. What do you think?
Data-
