300 AAC BLACKOUT AKSU

Post by 300Blk » Fri Jun 24, 2011 2:24 pm

It is done. I have not seen it or tried it yet, but it is being shipped to us on Monday. I am very excited but do not know how loud or reliable it will be.

Did that start life as an Arsenal SLR-106?

I need some details on the Blackout mount for the FSB.
It looks better than what I came up with.

Range report is that it functions reliably so far - even subsonic unsupressed - but a little weak - which is fine, as you will nearly alway shoot it supersonic or subsonic suppressed.

It is not very quiet though - 141.6 dB suppressed. That is typical of gas piston designs.

But we do think it is cool.
