I just picked up 1000 110vmax for my varmint critter loads out of my 308 precision gun. Good to know they'll be good for some reloading in my new BLK project.

Now I need to find a source for heavy 200+ grainers?

What's the load data for 208gr Amax? Just picked up 1000 from your other link.

Thanks

Generally in the 10-11 grain range of A1680 or RE7 or H4198 - whatever makes it go 1000 fps and is not too compressed.

OAL - I don't know. I would do whatever Hornady picked for their factory load.

Hey! Keep this quiet. At least until my order ships out today.

Thanks for the general data.

I just got off the phone with hornady reloading and they couldn't release any info at this time. "Check back in 4-6 weeks."

Guess I'll just have to do it the old fashion way.

Got 3 boxes each of 110 gr. and 208 gr. in from Midway today. :D Looks good. Will test it in my 9" AAC Upper, if I ever get time.

Mr. Silvers posted in another forum that the cheapest would be the low cost Remington which is out of stock at Midway for $12.99. If you're talking about 5.56 military surplus, I don't think it is possible to reach anything close to $0.33 a round like the military surplus because:

1. this is not military surplus
2. the bullet is 2x heavier than the 55gr

My 2 cents.
