If so, that will be very interesting.

That magazine, this round, and the 762 SDN6 might finally be the mix that makes me buy an M-16.

Unrelated note for those modding pmags - I picked up three lancer L5As today to use and abuse. They actually appear to be good kit.. haven't tried the 300 out of them, but they look closer to a... normal magazine... than the Pmag.

I ordered one to find out.

300AAC + Suppressor + night vision + 60 round quad stack...

No, tried it today. Does not work with 300 BLK.

Just curious, why doesn't it work with the 300BLK? I mean, the maximum diameter of the casing is the same as 5.56, so shouldn't it work?

Could be the extra weight of the cartridge? Don't really know, except that it doesn't work. We were working with the SF rep at the shoot.

I'd guess the actual profile of the cartridge is the issue. They have to have some interesting stuff going on in there for a 60 rounder to work.

It could also be the weight. The ammo is about 1.25 lbs heavier.

Did you try it with just 10 or 20 rounds in it? Just curious...
