Can't find load data / 210gr Cast RN for 300 blk

Post by ShippWrekk »

So I bought a Lyman double-caviity mold for a 210 grain round nose, gas-checked bullet. I hope to achieve a velocity of around 1050 fps. I'm using Hodgdon CFE BLK powder.
I recently loaded a Nosler 210 grain HPBT with 11.8gr at an OAL of 2.250" and go excellent results. Is this a good starting point? Or not applicable.. thanks in advance.

I use the older 311284 in a HP and usually use 1680. As its my preferred for heavy bullets in the black out.

Is your mold a Gas Check or Plain base? Generally unless your casting rock hard bullets lower pressures are desired for cast. A GC helps in this regard.

I shoot this bullet best just super sonic. I also cast it in 20:1 alloy and it expands and penetrates real
Well at 1250 fps for me.
