IT CLEARLY SAYS "SECONDS".

They are in the SECONDS closeout section. They are cheap. Not their fault people can't read.

Probably also why Berry's also has to include a "not loaded ammo" disclaimer on every page.....

They may be in the seconds/closeout section, but anybody clicking on the direct link in this thread wouldn't automatically know that like you would if you found them while looking through that section. When you know to look, yeah it says it in a couple places. One of them was down below my screen where I would have had to scroll down to see it, and the other was the small font "Category Closeouts Seconds BPS 300 AAC Blackout 220gr" off the the left away from the description and the add to cart portion. So yeah, it wasn't unclear, but it doesn't necessarily jump out at you, either. As for being cheap, I didn't find them to be particularly cheap, at least not enough to cause me to wonder why and therefore look closer.

Certainly, I probably would have seen that they were seconds had I looked more closely, and for sure I would have known had I found them through looking through the "closeouts" part of the Berry's site, rather than through a direct link posted on a forum. My purpose is not to point a finger at anyone, just to prevent anyone else from coming along and making the same mistake that I did.

Ok. I deleted the post to keep people from being so confused.

Reading comprehension is a fine art. I guess I have to assume everyone is a millenial with ADD these days.....

What's wrong with blems? When I can get them I use them. Now if one was shooting at 2000 meters and has to have the very best they might make a difference, but for non-critical work they are fine for most of us.

I wouldn't have changed the post. We need to understand that not everyone reads everything and I'm just as guilty of that as anyone else. Once it was brought to everyones attention that's all the "correction" that needed to happen.

I've never been able to tell the difference between the blems and first run berrys bullets, and i've bought thousands. There are frequently 1 or 2 messed up projectiles in the box that can easily be culled.

They always sell out within hours anyway so the link is of no benefit to those who run across it days later.

Shooters pro shop has nosler 220s right now for $0.29 each. But they're seconds too so I won't anger anyone by sharing the link. LOL.

Shooter's Pro Shop has 220 gr Custom Competition bullet blems back in stock for $30/100. If you are a vet you get 10% off once verified. These shoot pretty well for sub loads.

Nobody is angry at you; my sole purpose in responding was to prevent somebody from making the same mistake as I did. If you are happy with the blem bullets, rock on. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I wouldn't have bought them had I realized they were blems simply because I don't NEED to buy blems. I may have 99 problems, but lack of ammo (or subs in particular) isn't really one of them, so I would have been happy to have waited until the market calmed down. But I have wanted to try the Berry's for a while so that is why I bought them when I saw the link posted.

If I were short on ammo it might be a different story as I would be happy to get whatever I could. But I am not. I do, however, have a finite supply of powder and primers which I don't expect to be replenishing until the current situation subsides, so if I am going to use them up, I would prefer to use first run bullets than blems, that's all. They did arrive yesterday and it may be that I will decide it's worth my time to sort through them all to cull any with weight variances or other defects, or maybe I will still send them back. I haven't decided.
