Hello! New to the forum.
I have 3 rifles in 300 BLK, all 16 inch barrels that I shoot suppressed with a SilencerCo Harvester.
Single shot AAC Handi (H&R) rifle
Daniel Defense AR model M4V7
AR custom build (PSA lower with Bear Creek SS barrel)
The Daniel Defense has a shorter spring than a standard AR15 and my new custom AR that I built uses a Nemo light 300 BLK spring. The new build was a fun learning experience. All 3 rifles shoot great and shoot BLK ARs suppressed and unsuppressed. I know some say shorter barrels are the intended uses for the 300 BLK but mine are just for hitting steel and maybe a little hog or varmint hunting. Mostly 200-220 grain subs but may get into 110 grain supers.

welcome to the forum. lots of good info here.

Re: New to Forum using 16 inch barrels
Build/use the barrel length that suits you and your needs. I have a 10.5" and a 18". 18" gives more velocity compared to shorter barrels so I use is for hunting with supers. The extra range and punch don't hurt.
Re: New to Forum using 16 inch barrels
Welcome. Tons of great folks and info here. I run a 16" Stoner barrel and a 10.5" KAK. They both shoot good. Mostly shoot Subs in my 16"
Re: New to Forum using 16 inch barrels
I have a Radical Firearms 16". Mainly used 125 GR but the barrel length is gtg here.
