Re: 2018 shooting challenge
6.5 creedmoor will be my open class caliber and my RARR will handle the blackout duties.
Was 16deg here this morning with our high for the day just getting above freezing, should give me plenty of time to get some loading done before I have to go back to work.

Re: 2018 shooting challenge
Had a little free time at lunch today so I shot these.
On the left was for open class with a 45/70, model 73 Springfield.
On the right was for the 300 Blackout.
These were actually my sighters. Probably could have got closer to center but figured i'd give you guys a chance to best me.
300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

Mutilation of American currency is a federal crime. Lucky you that it too cold for the feds to come after you for 20 cents.dellet wrote:

Ahh - the old 45-70 accelerator. Wait what's that smell? Did I step in something?

Re: 2018 shooting challenge
I bet he shot those across the hood of the truck at 200 yds and is just goin easy on us. The way weather is happening, it may be March before a suitable shootin day happens. I'm thinkin my RARR in .223 and 110 Vmax in the BLK RARR, look forward to more marksmanship from you all.
