Question for r silvers about remington 700 extractors

Post by emrisg »

Can I replace the extractor in my 223 bolt with another remington extractor to get better results?

I built my gun off of a 223 remington 700 action.

Thanks

I specified 221 Fireball bolt parts for the AAC Micro-7. That being said, I never made any effort to even try 223 bolt parts, so I can't tell you how much better it is.

It would be an entire bolt swap, as the Fireball bolt has extractor in a different place.
