Re: A different kind of 300 Blackout pistol
This is awesome. What kind of mags are you using? I am thinking about doing something similar but with a 6-8” barrel. Thinking about a Rem 700 with an AB Mod-x chassis then SBR it and do a folding stock.

Re: Rainier 180 RARR AR Mag Model
I would check with Rainier on that diameter, generally plated bullets would be .309”. Maybe a bad run. Chamber spec’s show the transition from neck to bore are what you have as max length, and it steps down to .309”. Chamber might be on the tight end of the spec, but the bullet is oversize at .310”...

Rainier 180 RARR AR Mag Model
My RARR/AR mag model seems to have a very tight leade and it locks up with about half of my Rainier 180 handloads loaded to 2.1” COL. When trying to load or extract I need to use a mallet to close the bolt or open it. I have found the culprit to be the base diameter of the Rainier 180 bullet, which ...

Re: RARR now available with AR Magazine
This is awesome, I will try to order one next week. I finally got my RARR that takes AR mags. I previously had the Standard RARR with the flush mag. First impression is the stock is of significantly more rigid material and it doesn’t feel flimsy like the first model. The Forend in particular feels ...

Re: Thompson Center's Contender or now the G2
I have had my eye,on and off on of these for a few years. I've not been around anyone shooting one either. They Seems to be an option for switch-out barrels. Does anyone having one or shot one report in a 300 Blackout? Here is my G2 pistol in 300 blk. 8.5” Barrel done by MGM. It’s great. http://i66...

Re: Thompson Center's Contender or now the G2
I shoot my single shots 100X more than I do my AR. They are quieter and more versatile than an AR. AR's require a load that has enough gas, and energy, to cycle. This makes ARs loud and there is nothing you can do to make them quieter because of the gas. But with a single shot you can use powders t...

Re: Custom adjustable gas block
I might shorten the lever or cut a new one with a small ball end. We’ll see. Yes it is a mystic-x. Great can.
