Re: 220gr Leatherheads safe for use with RIFLE silencer?

Some here have had good luck and some have not. My personal experience is Leatherhead Bullets is a good company and stands behind what they sell. Their bullets function and shoot as well as any cast bullet. Success with not adding lead to your suppressor is dependent on loading practices and barrel ...

Re: Pray for East Coast folks

Generators= STA-BIL :) I have never had such a good time in Savannah with the neighbors. There was only %15 of the people in town and no electricity. It was so quiet and peaceful art night. The sky was full of stars. I want another vacation like this. I ready to pull a Grover's Mill stunt to get ano...

Re: Pray for East Coast folks

We got hit hard in Savannah. Most of the town folk is gone so it's not so bad. We may not have power for weeks. All of the families who stayed have been having a hurricane party block party. It's nice to see the kids play in the yards and streets without worry of cars. Some of the town folk... https...

Re: Pray for East Coast folks

We are as ready as we can be. I've been through 10 hurricanes. They are not fun. The worst part is being without electricity for a while.

I hope everyone who stays, stays safe. Peace be with us and let's hope for the best.

We are in Savannah. It's too late to get out. Thanks for the prayers. I think we will need them.

Re: Leatherhead 220g RN coated test and info thread.

Noveske makes a 1:7 twist.

So far the 1:8 twist barrels are showing better results with the coating. If I can find a cheap 1:8 barrel, I might try this again.

Re: Leatherhead 220g RN coated test and info thread.

Well my experiments are over now for now. I'm calling quits trying to get a fired bullet with the coating intact with this barrel. I can honestly say Dave form Leatherhead Bullets has gone out of his way to help me. I would like to publicly thank him for his generosity. He sent 2 different HTC coate...

Re: Just finished my newest.

Good job.

IMHO the "slim" style aluminum HGs are for the birds. They get too hot too soon.
