Re: Hornady Z Max Whisper Warning
I agree. My loss of the lot numbers would make it more difficult for them to track but at least they would have known of a problem. I don't know if my complaint was the first or only one, but they have started crimping their newer stuff. https://scontent-a-atl.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/s403x403/1621...

Re: Hornady Z Max Whisper Warning
I want nothing from Hornady. I did not use their money to ship the remaining rounds back to them or turn in a repair bill for my suppressor. I did not even ask them to send me replacement ammo. Todd was a great CS supervisor. Props to him. I just did not have the confidence to believe they would giv...

Re: Hornady Z Max Whisper Warning
you note that you'd bought 3 boxes, but had one stuck round, fired two rounds (that caused the damage), and took apart the "remaining 3" - so what happened to the other 54 rounds? I shot one by one looking for evidence of key holing, jacket separation, pressure problems, squibs or any oth...

Hornady Z Max Whisper Warning
I just wanted to give everyone my personal account of Hornady Zombie Rifle Ammunition 300 Whisper/Blackout 110 Grain Z-Max. On 5/30/2012 I bought 3 boxes of Hornady Zombie Rifle Ammunition 300 Whisper/Blackout 110 Grain Z-Max from Joe Bob Outfitters as a novelty item. Then they sat around for awhile...

Re: First time shooting the Noveske 8.2. Blown primer?
I'm in this club too. Thanks for posting it. I was starting to wonder if there was only a problem with my stick.
I have a factory 8.2 Noveske upper and see all these pressure signs on my cases with HV ammo. I've needed to back off on all starting loads from published data by at lease a full grain.

Re: Headspace problem with Lee dies
I have the Lee 3 die set. I've only used it to resize AAC brass. I've had no problems. All rounds drop in and out of a Wilson case gauge and my chamber.

Re: Still leading barrel after powder coat
Are you guys running the powder coated and sized bullets through suppressors? I'm wondering if this combination might cause bullets yawning and suppressor damage.

Re: JP silent captured spring
Are the standard 223 JP ones still working well? The spring BOING is really bugging me with the subs.
