Re: Reduced buffer weight with adjustable GB
I just ordered the taccom to give it a try. Going to put it in my 223 and see if I can turn down the gas enough. It's already near the bottom end with a standard Carbine buffer. If it worked well I was planning on getting another for my Blackout.

Look at CMC triggers or Patriot Ordinance Factory. I've got the CMC flat and while I like it I think I would GO with a POF flat. Either is a bit cheaper than the Timney and will do the same job.
Definitely try to consolidate and buy from fewer locations.

Re: Cycling issue
Try a different mag. I've had no issues with C Products and Magpul. Never tried a Hexmag.

Re: Rough Chamber ?
While Brownells has the lifetime satisfaction warranty I don't believe the OP said that is where he got it. Using a brush in the chamber probably wont void any warranty otherwise no one could clean it.

Re: NOE HP 311-247-FN RG4
I'm interested to see where this goes. I've got the non HP version I was thinking of sending out to have pins added. My suspicion is that it's a bit to heavy construction for expansion.

Strange, I built a 7.5 inch pistol with Anderson parts. No problems what so ever with a carbine buffer and normal spring.

I've got one of the Nikons but picked up a lower end Vortex when Midway had them on sale. They are head and shoulders clearer and sharper than the Nikons.

Re: Anyone using NikonP300 scope on suppressed AR?
I'm using the P223 on a blackout that will be suppressed as soon as the stamp is approved. I'm not as enthused with the Nikon scopes as i used to be. Their bullet drop system is just odd. I really like the Vortex scopes and even their low line is much clearer.
