I have a couple of scopes I use on my BLK bolt gun.
Started out with a Bushnell 3200 fixed 10x mil dot because I had it lying around. For a very inexpensive scope it is very good.
Then got a HiLux AK762 1-6x which is also excellent for the BLK and it's typically shorter range.

Re: Best round for breaching
Good deal. Thanks for the info. I'll conduct my own tests and keep it to myself. I had actually thought someone on this high speed, low drag forum had maybe tried a few projectiles on hard targets. Thanks anyway. Peace Big, heavy, slow moving projectiles on hard targets at close range is really NOT...

Re: Why a 7" twist? Why does one need that?
Keep in mind if your primary reason for a 300 BLK is a bigger bullet than a 5.56, such as for hunting, and your primary, or only, concern in using the 300 BLK is 110 to 165gr bullets, there's absolutely nothing wrong with an 8" twist barrel. All my BLKs are 1:8 and they shoot 208 AMAX just fin...

Re: Who's built an integral?
My outer tube is carbon fibre which would be a bit tricky to weld to a steel bbl.

Re: Who's built an integral?
You're lucky. Yes here in the states the ATF demands a $200 tax stamp for suppressors AND a $200 tax stamp for any type of rifle with a barrel less than 16" or a shotgun with a barrel less than 18". If I had to abide by those rules Id have just welded the monocore to the bbl and used a th...

Re: Who's built an integral?
You take the can off. It needs regular maintenance to ensure the threads and tube don't get welded in place by the fouling. So does this rifle also need an SBR stamp? Or is it just the end cap and baffle stack that's removable? SBR does not apply in my country. I was not aware that SBR rules applie...

From my testing that would be H4198. Followed by IMR4227.
I have found W296 (H110) and Lil Gun to be kinda loud.

Trailboss will fill the case right to the bottom of the neck. OAL is gonna depend on the bullet. With the Hornady 150gr I am at 2.180".milky7272 wrote:What oal with the 147gr and trailboss?
