Re: SBA3- CMMG rip brace - in Maxim defense PDW length!
I've got one on the way from CMMG's PR handlers. Will post review10Driver wrote:CMMG micro cqb rip brace
This looks to be one heck of a combo for AR pistol use.
Next question, can it use the Maxim PDW JP silent springs?

Re: Shooting quiet, Sub-sonic bullet noise
What I'm wondering is how slow must the velocity be to reduce or remove the supersonic shock waves from the subsonic bullet? When does the accelleration of air around the bullet fail to break mach 1? I posit this question as I've noticed, when testing barrels 4.75"-6.5", subsonic rounds tr...

Some barrels get better standard deviation than others?
In testing the 4.75", 5", 6" and 6.5" barrels, I've noticed one in particular tends to get better standard deviation numbers (factory ammo) than the others. Is there a possible explanation for this from the barrel side, or is it just luck of the numbers for how consistently a giv...

Re: Federal Power-Shok 120 grain copper
WithoutRemorse has chronographed the loads for his short barrel thread. He also did a hunting thread write up about a single deer hunt that he used the 6.5” V7 barrel and this ammo. I’m still trying to figure out how he ended drenched in deer fluids, but too polite to ask. Happy to answer! ...

Re: Supersonic load on 4.5" barrel able to defeat IIIA body armor?
Here's some velocity data from 4.75", 6", 6.5" barrels with various ammo, 5" data added soon. Also, shameless plug for my article. https://loadoutroom.com/51926/ultra-short-300-blackout-barrels-round-up-part-2/ Be nice to see a follow up to see how it can defeat, or not, Level I...
