A couple things: To Plant's comments 1-no one made any claims that the whole cartridge is a loss, or that all Winchester ammo is bad. 2- however, it does show that one theorized weakness is a reality. i.e. the fact that it headspaces on the case mouth makes it far more prone to this kind of problem,...

Really cool project.

I wasn't much interested in the micro barrel thing, but this is neat. Especially on that SBR stock.

There are now a couple lowers with integrated folding mechanisms. One of those with a pistol brace on it would be really slick with a kit like this for backpacking/ car use too.
