The take away from this, and other threads like this, is to never, ever call the police. There is no law, at least in my state, that requires me to call 911 if there is a defensive shooting Are you fricking kidding??!!?!!? So, badguy is in your house. I also use a top mounted X300 on my 300 SBR. That gives me PLENTY of light for that guns usage. It allows me to ID targets out to 100yds and thats about as far as I would engage in the dark anyway. Any further and you would need to have the light on longer then im comfortable with I also have a coup...

My 300blk SBR is a 9” AAC gun. Im VERY happy with the ballistics with 110gn blacktips. I have almost given up on subs thru this gun. Im not a hater, but a 220gn bullet at 950fps IS about 45acp energy. True they are QUIET thru a good can, but short of Zombies or sentry takedowns, that level of quiet...

9mm is .355, so yes its bigger then .308. (7.62mm vs 9mm).

I dont think its a baffle strike thats causing your issue, but i bet you have one soon if you dont fix the problem.

My guess is the load is not stable in your gun. Twist rate...bullet.... velocity... something is not working.

The MOST amazing part is the actions (reaction?) of the other passengers.....NOTHING!!! Just went on texting. Like this happens everyday on that train.
