Re: Best All-Around bullet for the money
Don't forget that W296 is the same as H110. -Sapper Not to be contrary, but no it isn't. It has nearly identical burning characteristics, but it is not the same powder. Reference: http://www.ilrc.ucf.edu/powders/sample_detail.php?resultPageSize=50&powder_id=80 http://www.ilrc.ucf.edu/powders/sa...

Re: Finally finished my "Critter Gitter!"
Good looking set up.
I'd thought about putting mine in a chassis but I'm trying to get it to lose weight. Most chassis will add at least another pound. Keep use posted on how well it shots. So far mine really likes Sierra's 240MK.

Re: Permanently attaching a suppressor to a barrel
It can't just be "pinned as opposed to welding", it must be permanent per the ATF which would mean pinned and welded. Yes, it can! Pinning from one side is considered permanent by the atf. I've worked for a class 3 mfg, we've completed this work to the atf's satisfaction more than once. G...

Re: Sand blasting baffles
Stainless steel pins, like sand blasting, well eventually completely devour aluminum. Personally, I wouldn't use anything like that on aluminum, solvents and nylon brushes only.

Re: Need a little advice.......
I've had the same thing happen. A 3/4" wrench will get the mount out of the can. Make sure you've turned the lock ring clockwise to unlock it. If the lock ring won't move, inspect it for debris as there must be something blocking it's travel. I know the lock ring can be very difficult to turn a...

Re: Troy PAR pump action?
So far I'm completely unimpressed with troy. I've tried calling twice with "a technical question" and twice I've been disconnected by whoever answers the phone. The first time I was put on hold, then after a few minutes, disconnected. The second time I was abruptly hung up on by whoever an...

Re: Permanently attaching a suppressor to a barrel
You can also have it pinned as opposed to welding. It must be one our the other to avoid the sbr stamp.
