velocity increase would be dependant on the powder used
fast burning powder may show little to no improvement
where a slow burning powder will show a velocity increase

plan on using 220 grain subs
is it worth machining the adapter that would be needed?

also PMC = Poorly Made Cartridge, IMHO

never a good idea
get the gun together then reload
make some dummy rounds first, check fit in chamber
manually cycle through the action, etc.
then make live ammo
